US Customs

Kartash understands the importance of getting your cargo through customs in a timely manner.

In today's world we understand you have very little free time and very high demurrage charges. In accordance with US Customs regulations, we file entries before your cargo even arrives in the United States. This ensures that your cargo is ready for pick up the minute it discharges the vessel.

In regards to customs exams, our staff works diligently to make sure that your cargo is available immediately after the completion of the exam and cargo is released by US Customs. We make sure that all charges for exams are taken care of right away, so as to avoid any delays after the containers are released.

We have a national permit, enabling us to clear your cargo in any port of the United States. Our staff is capable of clearing any type of cargo that you decide to bring into the US, as long as it is permitted by US Customs and its agencies. Whether you are shipping shoes or mangos, you can rely on Kartash to get it through US Customs in accordance with its laws in regulations.

Types of entries:

  • Consumption
  • Live
  • Warehouse
  • Drawback
  • Immediate Export
  • And others

USDA

US Department of Agriculture is an integral part of the Department and Homeland Security. Kartash can advise whether USDA will permit specific types of cargo, and whether or not permits are required for its admission into the United States. If you do require a permit, Kartash has the knowledge and expertise to assist you in applying for the necessary permit. If you are not sure if a permit is required, please feel free to contact one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives. It is our goal to make sure that your permits are approved by USDA before your cargo arrives in the United States. This will eliminate delays when your cargo does arrive.

For your convenience our website is constantly being updated with recent USDA news and up to date regulations, including the new wooden pallet requirements (PDF).
